McCall MacBain Scholar (2023), Mohit Kumar, is an M.A. Educational Leadership student in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE). He is working to devise curricula for Eklavyas (have-nots), for primary school students which aims to catalyze quality education and larger behavioral changes regarding learning, educational awareness, and opportunities.

Azam Dashti Khavidaki, a Ph.D. student in Educational Studies at 9I��’s Department of Integrated Studies in Education and a Fellow at the Participatory Cultures Lab (PCL), has been awarded the prestigious DRI EDIA funding from the Digital Research Alliance of Canada.

This recognition underscores her unwavering commitment to strengthening digital research infrastructure and expanding access to 21st-century skills for marginalized children and youth, advancing the pursuit of digital equality.

UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development in India (MGIEP) recently hosted Faculty of Education Dean, Vivek Venkatesh, and Professor Joseph Levitan, DISE, for a dialogue on community based participatory action research, and pluralism and polarization.

Their visit was part of a research tour including a dialogue on these topics to foster collaboration and to exchange ideas on education and societal challenges.
