 ervised students鈥� research on the Master鈥檚 and Doctoral level in areas rel
 ated to communication science\, global communication\, public relations\, 
 and virtual organizations and emerging forms of work. Her own research is 
 rooted in systems-based theories and systems thinking\, with a focus on st

 \n		Mar铆a Sierra C贸rdoba Serrano\, PhD\, is an Associate Professor (Professi
 onal) with 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 M.Sc. (Applied) in Multilingual Digital Com
 munication. Before joining 9I制作厂免费 in 2017\, she was an Associate Professor
  and Translation Chair at the Middlebury Institute of International Studie
 s at Monterey (California). As a scholar-practitioner\, she is particularl
 y interested in multilingualism management\, and she is the author of a bo
 ok\, as well as numerous book chapters\, journal issues and articles in in
 ternational peer-reviewed journals. More recently\, she has examined multi
 lingual crisis communication as part of her SSHRC-funded project\, 鈥淣o one
  is safe until everyone is safe: Multilingual crisis communication during 
 the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada鈥� (2022-2024). From 2022 to 2024\, she was 
 a member of the Canadian General Standards Board Committee on Translation 
 Services tasked with reviewing the national translation standard (CAN/CGSB
 -131.10-2017). She is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Cana
 dian Language Industry Association.聽\n	\n\n
