Veldon is an Assoc iate Professor and Faculty Chair of Indigenous Relations at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Univers ity. His current research focuses on Indigenous identity politics\, Canadi an – Indigenous politics\, settler colonialism\, postcolonial theory\, ant i- and decolonizing theories of society\, state and power. In addition to his academic pursuits\, Veldon has over a decade of professional experienc e in program and strategic Indigenous policy with the Government of Canada .\n \n\n About Guadalupe Cruz Orozco\n\n \n Guadalupe Cruz Orozco (she/her) is an academic and research associate\, supporting the academic programs of the Health portfolio\, domain and cross-domain initiatives for strategic c ollaboration\, international engagement\, and overall academic mission of the Governance and Administration Domain at the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ SCS.\n \n She holds a Master of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in De velopment Studies\, 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ - Institute for the Study of Interna tional Development\, where she was affiliated to the Institute for the Stu dy of International Development and a Student Fellow of the Research Team on Inclusion and Governance in Latin America - ÉRIGAL\n \n During her master 's program at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ\, she specialized on the politics of educa tion policies\, comparative politics of education and development\, with a key focus on policy institutions and governments as they strive to ensure access and coverage for education.\n \n\n About Nadège Firsova\n\n \n Nadège Firsova\, Ph.D.\, is the Director of the Administration and Governance (A& G) academic domain and a faculty member at the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ School of Continuing Studies. Her primary responsibilities include the curriculum development and delivery of programs in the A&G domain fostering the development of br oad competencies related to planning\, analyzing\, and controlling the exe cution of private- and public-sector strategies.
