Two Desautels BCom student teams took 1st and 2nd places in the Undergraduate Division at the National Investment Banking Competition (NIBC) held on March 23 to 24 in Vancouver. Every year, the competition attracts more than 330 teams of undergraduate and graduate students from top business schools around the world. It is recognized as one of the most prestigious financial case competitions in North America.

A BCom student case competition team 聽won the Montreal PRMIA Risk Management challenge for the second consecutive year. The roster of the 9I制作厂免费-Desautels team includes Simon Altman, Evan Coulter, Liam Maclure, and Valentyn Litvin. They are coached by Professor Sebastien Betermier.
The team will compete聽in Chicago for the International Championship early March, against 7 other finalist teams. PRMIA is the Professional Risk Managers鈥� International Association. 聽

Desautels Honours in Investment Management students Drew Allen and Philippe Rich won the 2015 Harvard Financial Analysts Symposium. In this competition, students had to present a stock pitch of professional quality to a panel of industry experts. The honours students collected the top prize of $1,000 based on the merits of their investment thesis, rigorous analysis, and in-depth research.
