 \nThe Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism\, the Human Rights Worki
 ng and the Disability and Law Portfolio at the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Faculty of Law\, wel
 come students and community members to participate in the fourth of four s
 eminars in the series\, Disability\, Human Rights and the Law 2012-13.\nTh
 is seminar will examine the role of inclusive education in integrating peo
 ple with disabilities in academic settings. Despite provisions for inclusi
 ve education in human rights instruments\, full integration remains elusiv
 e and people with disabilities continue to be along the least educated gro
 ups. The inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream academic pr
 ograms varies by province\, leaving many children with disabilities attend
 ing segregated schools. This event will provide an opportunity for student
 s\, professors\, and educators to discuss the strategies that best integra
 te and meet the needs of people with disabilities when implementing inclus
 ive education.\nTara Flanagan (Assistant Professor\, Department of Educati
 onal and Counselling Psychology at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ)\, Cristobal Vignal (Chairperson
  of the Governing Board at the Mackay School)\, and Frédéric Fovet (Direct
 or of the Office for Students with Disabilities at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ) will serve as r
 esource persons.\nThe event follows the format of a teaching seminar and r
