 le Mr. Justice Morris J. Fish\nJustice Fish received a B.A. (with Distinct
 ion) from 9I制作厂免费\nUniversity in 1959 and a B.C.L. (with First Class Honour
 s) from the\nFaculty of Law at 9I制作厂免费 in 1962\, where he was a University
 \nScholar. Upon graduation from law school\, he was awarded the\nGreenshie
 lds Prize\, the Crankshaw Prize for Highest Standing in\nCriminal Law and 
 the Macdonald Travelling Scholarship. He was an\nassociate (1964鈥�67) and p
 artner (1967鈥�89) in the Montr茅al law firm\nof Cohen\, Leithman\, Kaufman\,
  Yarosky and Fish (and successors\nfirms)\, and was created a Queen鈥檚 Coun
 sel in 1984.\nAn Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Law at 9I制作厂免费 Univers
 ity\,\nJustice Fish taught there as a sessional lecturer in Criminal\nEvid
 ence and Procedure (1973鈥�80) and Advanced Criminal Law\n(1986鈥�89). He has 
 over the years contributed to legal periodicals\nand lectured at numerous 
 legal and judicial conferences.\nJustice Fish has served as a consultant t
 o the Federal\nDepartment of Justice\, to Revenue Canada and to the Law Re
 form\nCommission of Canada\, and as special counsel to the Qu茅bec\nCommiss
 ion of Inquiry on the Construction Industry (鈥淐liche\nCommission鈥�) and the
  Security Intelligence Review Committee. He was\na member of the Board of 
 Directors of the Legal Aid Bureau of\nMontr茅al (1968鈥�73)\; a member and ch
 air of various committees of the\nBar of Montr茅al and the Bar of Qu茅bec (1
 969鈥�76)\; chair of the\nQu茅bec Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee (200
 0鈥�2003\, 2006)\;\nand member (1994- ) and chair (1996鈥�2003) of the Advisor
 y Board of\nthe Faculty of Law at 9I制作厂免费.\nJustice Fish receive
 d an honourary LL.D. from 9I制作厂免费\nin 2001\, and an honourary LL
 .D. from Yeshiva University in 2009. He\nwas elected an Honorary Fellow of
  the American College of Trial\nLawyers in 2006\; awarded the F.R. Scott M
 edal by the Faculty of Law\nat 9I制作厂免费 in 2006\; and the Medal of Recogniti
 on of the\nInternational Society for the Reform of Criminal Law in 2008. H
 e\ndelivered the H.L.A. Hart Memorial Lecture at Oxford University in\n200
 7 and the Goodman Fellowship Lecture at the Faculty of Law\,\nUniversity o
 f Toronto\, in 2004.\nAppointed to the Qu茅bec Court of Appeal on June 30\,
  1989\,\nJustice Fish was elevated to the Supreme Court of Canada on Augus
 t\n5\, 2003.\n
