Upon graduation from law school\, he was awarded the\nGreenshie lds Prize\, the Crankshaw Prize for Highest Standing in\nCriminal Law and the Macdonald Travelling Scholarship. He was an\nassociate (1964鈥67) and p artner (1967鈥89) in the Montr茅al law firm\nof Cohen\, Leithman\, Kaufman\, Yarosky and Fish (and successors\nfirms)\, and was created a Queen鈥檚 Coun sel in 1984.\nAn Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Law at 9I制作厂免费 Univers ity\,\nJustice Fish taught there as a sessional lecturer in Criminal\nEvid ence and Procedure (1973鈥80) and Advanced Criminal Law\n(1986鈥89). He has over the years contributed to legal periodicals\nand lectured at numerous legal and judicial conferences.\nJustice Fish has served as a consultant t o the Federal\nDepartment of Justice\, to Revenue Canada and to the Law Re form\nCommission of Canada\, and as special counsel to the Qu茅bec\nCommiss ion of Inquiry on the Construction Industry (鈥淐liche\nCommission鈥) and the Security Intelligence Review Committee. He was\na member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Bureau of\nMontr茅al (1968鈥73)\; a member and ch air of various committees of the\nBar of Montr茅al and the Bar of Qu茅bec (1 969鈥76)\; chair of the\nQu茅bec Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee (200 0鈥2003\, 2006)\;\nand member (1994- ) and chair (1996鈥2003) of the Advisor y Board of\nthe Faculty of Law at 9I制作厂免费.\nJustice Fish receive d an honourary LL.D. from 9I制作厂免费\nin 2001\, and an honourary LL .D. from Yeshiva University in 2009. He\nwas elected an Honorary Fellow of the American College of Trial\nLawyers in 2006\; awarded the F.R.
