DESCRIPTION:Mohammed Zourob received his Ph.D in 2003 from\nDepartment of i
 nstrumentation and Analytical Science (DIAS) from\nThe University of Manch
 ester. From 2003-2005 Dr. Zourob worked as a\nresearcher at the University
  of Manchester working in biosensors\nand lab on a chip for life science a
 pplications. Then he moved to\nthe Department of Biomaterials Science to w
 ork in developing high\nthroughput screening platforms for “Omics” applica
 tions. At the end\nof 2005 Dr. Zourob moved to the institute of Biotechnol
 ogy at the\nUniversity of Cambridge where his research focuses on optical
 \nsensing and lab-on-a chip. On late 2006 he headed the biosensors\ndivisi
 on at Biophage Pharma Inc. and then the R & D at GDG\nEnvironment. Dr. Zou
 rob edited 5 monographs in biosensors\, a number\nof patents and many peer
 -reviewed articles. Since September 2010 he\nis heading the BBBL lab at IN
 RS where he has 6 post docs and 6 Ph.D\nstudents working in different proj
 ects related to biosensors\,\nrecognition receptors and lab on a chip. Dr.
  Zourob research\ninterest includes the development of chemo/biosensors\,
 \nhighthroughput screening for “Omics” applications\, platform for\ntheras
 onstics applications\, and lab on a chip for life science\napplications.\n
