She has been\na member of the International Study Group of the United Nations\nEc onomic Commission for Africa on the revision of mining codes in\nAfrica (2 007-2009) and has advised the Canadian government on\ncorporate social res ponsibility in the extractive sector in\ndeveloping countries.\nSaleem H. Ali is now Associate Professor of\nEnvironmental Planning at the Rubenstei n School of Environment and\nNatural Resources\, Vermont University. He is also on the adjunct\nfaculty of Brown University’s Watson Institute for I nternational\nStudies and the UN mandated University for Peace in Costa Ri ca. Ali\nhas received grants and project contracts from the United States \nInstitute of Peace\, The Tiffany & Company Foundation\, The\nWoodrow Wil son International Center for Scholars and the United\nNations Environment Program.
