 in the heart of the financial\ndistrict. Richard Sommer\, dean of the John
  H. Daniels Faculty of\nArchitecture\, Landscape and Design\, will be the 
 keynote speaker. He\nwill deliver an entertaining and educational talk ent
 itled\n“Dyn-O-Mite Fiends: Architecture and Anarchy in Chicago.”\n\nProfes
 sor Sommer is an architect and urbanist. Before joining the\nUniversity of
  Toronto\, he was a member of the architecture and\nurban design faculty a
 t Harvard University’s Graduate School of\nDesign. His most recent researc
 h concentration has resulted in a\nco-authored book entitled 'The Democrat
 ic Monument in America: a\nTwentieth Century Topography'. He was also a Vi
 siting American\nScholar and the O’Hare Chair of Design and Development at
  the\nUniversity of Ulster\, where he worked to develop new models for the
 \ndesign of Northern Ireland’s cities and towns as they emerge from\n“The
