 es dawsonite\, named after Sir William Dawson\, adamsite-(Y)\,\nnamed afte
 r Frank Dawson Adams\, artifacts from Adams’ pioneering\nresearch on rock 
 deformation\, a suite of minerals collected by\nAdams during his geologica
 l work in Sri Lanka\, and his landmark\nbook Birth and Development of the 
 Geological Sciences.\nAlso displayed is a selection of other mineral speci
 mens from the\nMuseum’s collection. The exhibit is located on the ground f
 loor of\nthe Library.\n \n
