This interactive workshop for faculty, staff and graduate students, will provide an overview of the fast changing notions of disability, impairment and access.聽 A series of interactive tasks structured around recent statistics concerning disability on campus will lead the participants to re-examine certain preconceptions about the nature of disabilities in higher education, the models for services and best designs for universal access.聽 Using case studies and discussion, participants will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of emerging notions of disability, to identify obstacles to inclusion, and to begin a personal reflection as to how best facilitate universal access as members of the 9I制作厂免费 community.
