‘The Difficult Education of Shelley's Triumph of Life’, a lecture by Joel Faflak,Associate Professor of English, University of Western Ontario

Joel Faflak is the author of Romantic Psychoanalysis and the Burden of the Mystery (SUNY, 2007); co-editor, Nervous Reactions: Victorian Recollections of Romanticism (SUNY, 2004); co-editor, Cultural Subjects: A Popular Culture Reader (Thomson-Nelson, 2005); editor, Sanity, Madness, Transformation: The Psyche in Romanticism (Toronto, 2005); and editor, Romanticism and History, special issue of European Romantic Review.

This Lecture is part of a two day research event organized by the ‘Technologies, Media, and Representations in Nineteenth-Century Britain and France’ Research Group, with the generous support from the following departments and organizations: Concordia University Faculty of Arts and Science and English Department, 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ University Faculty of Arts and English Department, Université de Montréal Faculty of Arts and Science, English Department and Centre de recherché sur l’intermédialité.
