About Us

With a history dating back to the 1960s, 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 language labs have continually evolved to meet the needs of modern language learning. Today, the Advanced Multimedia Language Facility (AMLF) is a modern space consisting of three multimedia labs. It provides听a Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) environment for both teachers and students within the 9I制作厂免费 community.

To promote excellence in language teaching, learning, and research through the integration of innovative technologies.

A Hub for Language Learning听

The facility supports around 45 courses in 14 languages鈥攆rom Arabic to Urdu. The labs provide students with modern technology and interactive resources that support independent learning and active participation.

Support for Teaching and Research

The AMLF also serves as a resource for instructors and researchers in language didactics, offering material, technical, and collaborative support for course development and research projects.

Marion Vergues, Director of FLC & AMLF

As the Director, Marion provides academic leadership in the advancement of innovative language pedagogy, fostering collaboration across departments and supporting the integration of digital tools in language education. Haluk Tuncay, Educational Technology Consultant

As the Educational Technology Consultant, Haluk plays a key strategic role in advancing instructional innovation across the Faculty of Arts, especially in language teaching. He provides expert guidance in instructional design, oversees the management and acquisition of educational technology and language software licenses, and leads the integration of technopedagogy across all language departments.

Haluk designs and delivers professional development workshops, offers one-on-one training for academic staff, and ensures the effective pedagogical use of the AMLF. In addition to supervising AMLF lab technicians, he also manages facility bookings and ensures smooth operation of the lab鈥檚 technological resources.
